Q: I can set my Buzz Level and my Honey can see it. I have a profile, a Hive, and resources. Is that all this thing does?

Yes, really. HunnyMeter is a way for people who are already connected to stay aligned in an area that can sometimes be challenging — to remove guesswork, and to help position you for open and loving communication with the ones who matter most.
Q: OK, but you have plans for other things, yes?
Yes, you've got us. The HunnyMeter is the foundation of all of this, but we envision a broader space — HunnyComb — where we help our Bees delve deeper into learning and growing with their Honeys. You can check out our initial curated list of resources here.

Q: Who is this for?
People who are already in a connection — whatever that looks like for them — and want a simple, private, pressure-free way to stay close. If that's you, welcome to the Hive.
Q: Is my data private?
Yes. What happens in your Hive stays in your Hive. We collect anonymized, aggregate data to understand how to make HunnyMeter better. We share what we learn with the Colony, but never anything that could identify you or anyone in your Hive. We never sell personal data to anyone, ever.
Q: A lower Buzz Level means my Honey isn't interested in me, right?
Not at all. A lower Buzz means today is a quieter day — shaped by any number of things that have nothing to do with how your Honey feels about you. A higher Buzz is an invitation to share some honey. Communicating your Buzz Level, whatever it may be in this moment, is a way of saying "I want to be close to you."
Q: What if my Honey and I have very different Buzz Levels a lot of the time?
It's very normal, and is an area of intimate relationships that HunnyMeter aims to improve — not by closing the gap, but by making it visible and less charged. If you'd like to explore ways to improve closeness and communication, our Resources section has excellent starting points.
Q: What is a Hive?
A Hive is your private group — just you and your Honey, or however many people you're already connected with. It's invitation-only, completely private, and not visible to anyone outside it. You can have multiple Hives if your life calls for it.
Q: What does 'Buzz Level' mean?
Your Buzz Level is the number you set on the HunnyScale (0–10) to indicate where you're at, desire-wise, in any given moment. 0 means the hive is quiet. 10 means full comb. Everything in between is just life being fluid.
Q: What is HunnyComb?
HunnyComb is our planned resource and community layer — a separate space with coaching resources, consent frameworks, curated tools, and eventually a community for the people who want to go deeper. It's coming. And we'd love your input on what it should look like.
